An introduction from
Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge
We are a regenerative tourism lodge in 7 acres of natural gardens and woodland, rich in birds, butterflies, mammals, and the occasional leopard! We sit at the gateway to the Himalaya, having a magnificent panorama of three 8,000m peaks before our terrace.
Our aim is to give every guest a special experience of Nepal though local guides and authentic Nepali food. 16 rooms in stone bungalows in local style, we are the ideal base for guests who want a rural locale, yet access to Pokhara for its lakeside and adventure sports. We have exciting walks from an hour to full day hikes, all led by expert guides, for those who enjoy hiking but do not wish to trek in the classical way. Walks focus on flora, fauna and culture. A range of yoga, meditation and massage therapies are available
Operating more like a private home, our friendly, discreet staff have been with the lodge since its opening in 1998 by Sir Edmund Hillary and are adept in making every guest feel personally welcome and relaxed.
