In many corners of the world, hardworking individuals within the travel industry are underpaid and, sadly, even exploited. Many communities suffer from over tourism. And all too often, some people do not feel comfortable to travel because of their race, language, physical condition, or a variety of other individual characteristics. This reality runs contrary to the principles of fairness and respect that should underpin any sustainable and ethical endeavor. Painted Circle was born from the belief that it is our responsibility to address these injustices and pave the way for a more fair and more vibrant future.
Drawing on my own experience running a successful tour company, and by collaborating with passionate travel professionals worldwide, we envisioned a platform that could redefine the way we travel. A platform that goes beyond simply reselling travel experiences, but also incorporates a deep commitment to ethical practices and authentic connections. We embarked on a path to completely reconfigure the relationship all of us within the industry have with each other and with travelers, creating a circular model that allows us to all support each other in uplifting ways.
