About us...
East N’ West on Board is an inbound multiday tour operator in Sri Lanka, registered as a travel agency with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority since 2013.
We offer some all-island tours as well as some community-based tourism services in Batticaloa.
Our all-island tours are mainly off-the-beaten track, targeting nature lovers and travellers keen on connecting with local communities and visiting lesser-known places.
In Batticaloa, we have developed a small network of homestays where we accommodate foreign guests in local families. Guests can discover the simple local lifestyle and be fed healthy local food while experiencing a cross-cultural interaction.
We also organize authentic village tours and ecofriendly experiences, mainly by bicycle, in surrounding villages. We connect our guests with hosts in villages where they spend time with and learn from local communities.
